“The Call” is about a scientist, Stuart Geoffries (David Pringle), who turns himself into an agency, which he believes is the FBI. After turning himself in he is interrogated by Agent Gil (Kutcha), who wants to find out exactly what Geoffries knows and if he's told anyone about the disappearance of his boat and his crew so the secret of 'The Call' can be protected. Gil has Geoffries killed and sends Agent Johnson (Vin Reccoppa) to retrieve a package, mailed out by Geoffries before he was killed. Billy (Jaylen Sansom), Geoffries' friend and only surviving crew member, touches base with a reporter, Jessie (Brenda Cooney). Will the secret of 'The Call' stay protected? The exhilarating new short film, 'The Call,' is making its debut to the public after an exciting journey from the crew members of Killer Goose Films. The film is based on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and was written, produced and directed by Daniel O. Linke. Killer Goose Films is an independent film company based in New Jersey. The crew, made up of students, came together in 2008 at William Paterson University in New Jersey. After raising a thousand dollars of their own money, the Killer Goose crew was able to start production of their first film outside of being William Paterson students. The crew all agreed that the boat location was the most extraordinary. With few resources, the crew had planned the boat scene to take place with props in a garage. When the crew was not satisfied with the scene, producer Dale DeVino was able to secure his father's custom hand-made vintage boat on the beautiful Riverfront Marina in Brick, NJ.The crew members pushed through the complications that stood in their way and thoroughly enjoyed the process. They are currently in the process of creating their next film.
