The center of every film is the story. The stories from these practioners of weird cosmic horror will "demand from the reader a certain degree of imagination and a capacity for detachment from everyday life" for a few hours at least. If history proves correct The panel on Lovecraft at 125 will be insightful, inciting, definitive and heretical. Leslie S. Klinger is the editor of the highly-acclaimed New Annotated Dracula, New Annotated Frankenstein, and the two-volume New Annotated H. P. Lovecraft. He also edited the anthologies In the Shadow of Dracula and In the Shadow of Edgar Allen Poe, featuring 19th- century supernatural fiction. Together with Lisa Morton, he’s also edited the anthologies Ghost Stories and Weird Women, both with extensive selections of Victorian horror. Klinger’s annotated editions include the four-volume Annotated Sandman (with Neil Gaiman), Watchmen Annotated (with Dave Gibbons), and Annotated American Gods (again with Neil Gaiman). He serves as Treasurer of the Horror Writers Association and lives in Malibu with his wife Sharon, dog Jenny Calendar, and cat Rupert Giles.

S.P. Miskowski's  Knock Knock and first novella Delphine Dodd were finalists for Shirley Jackson Awards. She is the recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships and a Swarthout Award. Her fiction and non-fiction have been published in Black Static, Supernatural Tales, Identity Theory, Other Voices, and Nightmare Magazine. She has stories in the anthologies October Dreams 2, Cassilda's Song, The Hyde Hotel, Leaves of a Necronomicon, Detritus, and Little Visible Delight. Miskowski's award-nominated series the Skillute Cycle is published by Omnium Gatherum. Her novelette Muscadines is part of the Dunhams Manor Press 2016 limited edition hardcover series, illustrated by Dave Felton. Her chapbook Stag in Flight, illustrated by Nick Gucker and published by Dim Shores, will be released at HPLFF-SP. Author and artist will be on hand to sign copies of the book on May 1st.

After, spending some time pursuing a career as an Indiana Jones-Archaeologist, Kat began her publishing career as a collaborating artist on such projects as UTOPIATES, a CATWOMAN story for BATMAN 80pg GIANT for DC Comics and TITANIUM RAIN. She produced numerous concept designs for Spartan Games has had work featured in Interzone magazine. As well, she began her comic series entitled LD30: The Adventures of a Swinging Robot, and started her column The F Word which debuted on ComicRelated.com. After five years in the comic book industry, in 2011 Kat founded 01Publishing  with the goal of producing the best in science fiction, fantasy, and horror of both prose and graphic story telling.  01Publishing’s catalog of books have received acclaim from the Huffington Post, SF Signal, Kirkus Reviews, Innsmouth Free Press, and The Examiner.

Ian Welke's short fiction has appeared in Big Pulp, the American Nightmare anthology, 18 Wheels of Horror, and the upcoming Redneck Eldritch. His novels, The Whisperer in Dissonance (2014) and the Bram Stoker Award Nominated End Times at Ridgemont High (2015) were both published by Omnium Gatherum Media.

Cody Goodfellow has written nine novels and five collections of short stories, and edits the hyperpulp zine Forbidden Futures, and has won three Wonderland Book Awards. His comics work has been featured in Mystery MeatCreepy, Slow Death Zero and Skin Crawl. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous short films, TV shows, music videos by Anthrax and Beck, and a Days Inn commercial. He wrote, co-produced and scored the Lovecraftian hygiene films Baby Got Bass and Stay At Home Dad, which can be viewed on YouTube.

Gary Myers fell under the shadow of Lovecraft at the tender age of sixteen and never completely escaped it. All of his published writings have touched on the Cthulhu Mythos in one way or another. His books include The House of the Worm, a cycle of dream fantasies in the manner of Lovecraft and Lord Dunsany, published by Arkham House in 1975; and Dark Wisdom, a cycle of Lovecraftian horrors in a more modern vein, published by Mythos Books in 2007. Most recently he has published The Country of the Worm, a revised and expanded edition of The House of the Worm supported by an equal number of similar stories written in the decades since; and Gray Magic, his first novel, an episode of Eibon of Mhu Thulan. Gary lives in California with his wife Jennifer, their cat Mocha and a large collection of fantasy books and movies.

Matt R Lohr is the co-author of the Amazon best-selling book Dan O'Bannon's Guide to Screenplay Structure, with the late writer / filmmaker behind Alien, The Return of the Living Dead and other genre classics. Matt is himself an award-winning screenwriter, essayist and criti.
