Open Circle Theater's H. P. LOVECRAFT plays
Each October/November, Seattle's Open Circle Theater put on live adaptations of several Lovecraft stories. I'd love to see if we could get them to trek down to Portland to give us a preview. I'll bet it'd be a big hit.
In the past these were usually quite serious and well done, although last year they took a much more tongue-in-cheek approach (that I personally didn't care for.)
Their 2008 production is:
HP Lovecraft Necronomicon
Directed by:
Ron Sandahl

Running Dates:

Description:
Open Circle Theater continues it's 6th year of smash-hit adaptations of stories by the master of the macabre, H.P. Lovecraft. This year we are creating an original piece based on Lovecraft's works and involving his sinister tome, The Necronomicon.
A young woman is being terrorized by nightmares. But what happens when things from her dreams start occurring in her real life. Is she going crazy, or are there really man/squid things attacking her? And the strange "hero" who has suddenly appeared? And what is that strange book she keeps dreaming about...
Come see what all the screaming is about...
