Andrew Migliore Founder & Director Andrew Migliore started out his career as a software engineer and later as a software engineering manager at several innovative startup software companies. In fact, his need to research the web and HTML in 1995 led him to create a website called Beyond Books that ultimately led to the creation of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and the book Lurker in the Lobby: A Guide to the Cinema of H.P. Lovecraft (with John Strysik). He has been involved in the Lovecraft and literary horror community ever since.

Sarah L. Gerhardt Sarah L. Gerhardt has been wearing a lot of hats lately from vendor and sponsor coordinator for the film festivals run by Lurker Films, to office manager, and even as a 2nd Assistant Director for an upcoming feature film shot here in Portland Oregon. Regardless of which hat she wears she is doing a great job at the command center. Little does she know, we have prepared a whole rack filled with more hats for her to wear (Cue ominous music).

Volunteer

The H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival wouldn't be nearly as much fun without the steady and stalwart Cavalcade of Cultists volunteering their time and effort to help the Festival run as smoothly as possible. Being a volunteer for the Film Festival takes a lot of work and dedication, but the rewards are Great and Arcane. Volunteers earn t-shirts (special "insanity accelerator" t-shirts, no less), festival passes, offline screenings, and invitations to other events at the festival, as well as the gratitude of the Festival and many pats-on-the-back. Volunteers are expected to operate as guides, festival security, and other tasks that come up (there are always other tasks!).
