Legendary movie icon Roger Corman will be in attendance at the 2011 H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival® to accept the "Howie" award for contributions to Lovecraft cinema.

Corman was the first director to tackle Lovecraft with his 1963 adaptation of "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward" as The Haunted Palace, starring Vincent Price.

We will be screening The Haunted Palace at this year's festival.

The first H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival® in Los Angeles was a success! Thank to everyone who came out for it, supported us, and especially, allowed Andrew to sit back, relax, and not have to deal with anything.

I just received word that Stuart Gordon will be attending the first Los Angeles based H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival®.

That means that all directors of all films will be on hand this evening.
