We have the annual festival coming up this October 1-2-3, 2010 at the Hollywood Theatre, Portland Oregon. Also on Sept 11. 2010 in LA we have the first HPLFF-LA.

Deep One Awards
I was in the hospital earlier this week getting my appendix removed... and of course it couldn't be a normal appendix... I think the festival is warping my mind and body... the appendix was according to the doctor a pseudopod wrapping around the large intestine measure a foot or more. Can't wait to see the pathologist report next week. I unfortunately will not be running around like a mad man and will have to take it easy... please do not hug me as all sorts of vileness may occur.

The 2009 HPLFF will be held in Portland Oregon on October 2-3-4. We are rising from our R'lyehian slumber and are actively working on updating the site with new information.
The stars are almost right...

I am sure by now you have seen splashed on the pages of Variety and echoed in most blogs and news sites that there is a chance that the graphic novel "The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft" may be made into a movie.
So I ask the lurkers... what do you think? Will Ron beat del Toro to the punch and be the first to make a major Hollywood Lovecraft based production?Read more
