Director's Statement:
Eel Girl is a short film that was designed to be both disturbing and beautiful. Shot on 35mm by one of New Zealand's foremost Directors of Photography, and with special makeup effects created by world renown Weta Workshop, Eel Girl is a film that was created to generate interest, controversy and word of mouth publicity.
